There is also antique mining equipment, falling rocks, an earthquake, and the smell of sulfur as you pass phosphorescent pools. In Disney World, you careen through a dinosaur's ribs, under a waterfall, past spewing geysers, and over a volcanic pool.

The lines are long but move fairly quickly. It is best to go during parades, or use a FASTPASS, or go late in the day (many people say it's even better after dark). Plan for at least 30 minutes of queuing at non-peak times, and an hour at peak times.

My two favorite rides at Disney theme parks are "It's a Small World After All" and "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad". Both are popular attractions at Disneyland, Disney World, and the Disney parks in Paris and Tokyo.

"It's a Small World After All" made its debut at the 1964 New York World's Fair in the UNICEF pavilion and was designed as a message of international harmony by Walt Disney's team. It was transported to Disneyland in 1966, and located inside Fantasyland; it instantly became a highlight of the park.

In this ride, passengers get into boats outside the attraction and they are carried inside and moved along by a gentle current. They go through a series of rooms, each of which has dolls from different countries and cultures singing and moving to the catchy song. There is the Taj Mahal, Big Ben, and the Eifel Tower, among other global landmarks. I like trying to spot all the different countries and landmarks.

There are about 300 Audio-Animatronics figures from 100 different nations. They are simple and childlike with their repetitive movements and limited articulation. At the end of the ride, there are dolls from all the different nations singing "It's a Small World After All" together. To me, it is very appealing ending.

That song is the infectious kind that I can't get out of my mind. It was written by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman, who also wrote the songs for Mary Poppins. It is continually played in a soundtrack loop, about 4,800 times an operating day in Disney parks around the world. Just about all of us can't help singing along.

I had taken reliance broadband before 1 year. The day the guy came and installed the connection it worked well for 2 days. But on the 3rd day I was not able to surf, cant send emails also. I called them but they did nt response till 1 week. later my frnd resolved the problem. after a day the same thing was happening and one fine evening there was some eletric shock coming from the cable.

I called customer care and spoke wid some Lady supervisor and told her that I want 2 disconnect the connection since that electric shock has damaged my computer screen and LAN card... she told me okay and told that she will close my account. then I received a bill for that month as well as for the second month too. then I received a call from DELHI and I told her all the problem she told me dat the account is still nt closed so she will close that.

I called customer care again and they told me that they have closed the case on this 15th, Jan, 09.

I dnt understand, when I have not used any thing, why should I pay and why is this Legal Notice for?

This is pure cheating and black mail from Reliance. I am planning to call up Reliance and talk to them once other wise i am planning to go to Consumer Court.

I had taken the connection almost over a 1yr back and from then on it just worked for 1-2 months in total. Every time there was a disruption i had to call up the Mumbai helpline no and they would take 15-20 days to resolve. This would work for 10-11 days and it was the same situation again. Hence i asked for disconnection multiple times but they said they'll send a rep. to have a look.

The rep. came and said the connection in my area was not feasible and hence i asked for disconnection so many times that i have lost count. Finally they came and took their stuff last month and now i get the notice. I am really angry with Reliance for this and def. plan to goto consumer court if they push me.

My experiences with Reliance broadband services had been pathetic, and here I am giving a vent to my frustration with them as it has crossed all boundaries.

Reliance Netconnect Sucks

Reliance has an impressive ad on the TV about their product – Reliance Netconnect Hi-Speed Wireless USB Internet Modem – which can allow you to enjoy music downloads, gaming, video chat, live TV and much more at an ‘outstanding speed' of upto 3 MB per second. I paid Rs. 3,000 (US$67) for this modem and went for a 10 GB/month plan at around Rs. 1,000 (US$22) per month. However, when I received the USB modem and tried to connect to the Internet, the maximum speed I could get was around 10K per second! It was like moving the clock back by 12 years, when we had those slow modems. I reported the problem to the salesman and asked him to replace the modem.

The Reliance salesman assured me that he would replace the modem. He took away the modem and came back with the same modem after three days. He said the modem could not be replaced, but he has got the firmware in the modem changed and now it should work properly. When I tried the modem again, there was no difference at all. My modem speed hovered at around 10k per second. It was a big disappointment.

After trying the service for few days, I went to a nearby reliance service center and canceled my monthly plan for this service. I was told to pay extra money for one month if I wanted to terminate, plus I was told I would not get any refund for the modem. Reluctantly, I paid the money as I wanted to get rid of this lousy service. However, to my surprise I kept on receiving bills and reminder calls for paying bills for three months after I canceled the service. Finally I had to blast at their billing department and the bills stopped. My advise – Never go for Reliance Netconnect. It sucks big time!

I also tried Reliance Broadband service when one of their salesmen offered a free landline phone with this service. This service had a good connection speed in the day time, but I was never able to connect to the Internet after 8 pm. I had pointed out this problem to the Reliance technical support, but they always replied with blanket replies

We cannot commit on a timeline but we are trying to resolve your problem within the next 24 hours, please take down your customer complaint number. And, about three weeks ago, both the landline phone and Internet connection stopped working. When I reported this problem to the Reliance technical support, I received a reply that the problem was solved and the case was closed. However, the Internet and phone line was still not working for me. I checked with other reliance broadband users in my neighborhood, and they had the same story. So the Reliance technical support team went to the extent of telling blatant lies in their replies.

So I reported this problem again to the Reliance Technical support. I finally came to know that one of their routers which was installed in the neighborhood was stolen. But the company did not want to spend even a small sum of Rs. 15,000 to replace the router. A company owned by a multi-billionaire can not afford to replace a small router to keep its services uninterrupted!! This was the message I received from one of the chiefs of their technical service department and also from the office of the Reliance chairman!

What a pathetic attitude! Let the customer go to hell, we don't care about you – we just care about our profits! Reliance broadband are behaving like an ostrich burying their head in the sand – but consumers in India are not that stupid now. And Reliance should also realize that such stories originating from India can reach other countries at the speed of light and tarnish their reputation.

In short, I'd say Reliance Broadband and its management really suck. Better stay away from such companies. I just want to make Indian consumers aware of how unreliable Reliance is. Their name is a misnomer – in fact their products and services show that they are just the opposite of being reliant.
